Is Hulu just not cutting it for you when it comes to watching movies and television online? Perhaps you found a better service in our Hulu Alternatives article and want to use it instead? Whatever the reason, you can delete your Hulu account if you want.
Your Hulu account will only cost you money if you have a subscription to Hulu Plus and/or the Showtime extension. So you can just cancel your subscription and revert to a free Hulu account, and you won’t be charged any money to use Hulu (but your viewing options will be limited accordingly).
However, if you want to go all the way and delete your free Hulu account as well, then we’ll show you how to do that, too.
To cancel a Hulu Plus account:

Go to www.hulu.com in your web browser and log in.

Move your mouse cursor over your name in the top-right corner until a drop-down menu appears. Click Account.
(NOTE: You may have to re-enter your password.)

Scroll to the “Your Subscription” section, and under “Hold or Cancel Subscription”, click Cancel Subscription.

On the next page, under “Still Want to Cancel?”, click the check box here to confirm that you want to cancel your account and understand the rules of doing so (click Terms here to read these rules). Then click Yes, Cancel My Subscription.
You will receive an email confirmation that your subscription to Hulu Plus has been cancelled.
To delete a Hulu account:

Go to www.hulu.com in your web browser and log in.

Move your mouse cursor over your name in the top-right corner until a drop-down menu appears. Click Account.
(NOTE: You may have to re-enter your password.)

Under the “Personal Information” section, click Update Personal Info.

Near the bottom of the window that appears, click Delete My Free Hulu Account.

A new window will appear explaining what happens when you delete your Hulu account. To confirm that you really want to delete your Hulu account, click in the box labelled “Enter Current Password” and type in the password that you use to secure your Hulu account. Then click Yes, Delete My Account.
There you go! Your account on Hulu is no more!
